Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate

Brooklynn Dease, MA, NCC, LCMHCA

Hello, I'm Brooklynn Haas Dease, and I'm delighted to welcome you. With a strong commitment to mental health and a passion for helping individuals and families thrive, I bring years of experience and a warm, empathetic approach to therapy. Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your child, or your relationship, I'm here to help!

Prior to becoming a therapist, I gained experience working in various mental health settings including community mental health agencies, schools, and private practice clinics. This diverse background has allowed me to work with individuals from all walks of life and to understand the unique challenges that each person may face.

I provide both in-person and virtual psychotherapy for individuals and families ages 9 and up. My work here involves addressing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, BPD, academic problems, familial challenges, parenting skills, and autism.

I assessed, diagnosed, and provided virtual therapy using CBT, person-centered, and solution-focused modalities for a diverse caseload.

In addition to my clinical experience, I have a strong background in educational settings. I served on the Gaston County Schools Suicide Prevention Team, coordinating efforts to develop mental health awareness activities and revising suicide protocols. As a School Counselor at Holbrook Middle School, I created and delivered lessons on teen mental health, career exploration, and character development.

My education and training have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide evidence-based therapy to individuals across the lifespan.
